Aerotek General Production Worker in Summerville, South Carolina

Description:

Essential Responsibilities: (Flatten or re-spool material in the Tandem group)

  1. Retrieves material from staging area

  2. Set up no.1 no. 2 or re-spool equipment

2.1. Pay-off

2.2. Dancer system

2.3. Straightening box

2.4. Roll stand set up

2.5. Edger set

2.6. Take up wire onto reel as required

2.6.1. Maintain bow and camber

2.6.2. Adjust traverse to achieve proper lay

  1. Maintain material quality and integrity

3.1. Perform quality checks as required

3.2. Properly label finished material

3.3. Forwards samples to quality for testing as required

  1. Maintains expected production rate

  2. Troubleshoots process problems

  3. Identifies equipment issues and repairs/reports as necessary
