American Credit Acceptance Team Lead, Loss Mitigation in Spartanburg, South Carolina

The Team Lead will help to transition new associates to the department through coaching, supervision, and additional training. This position will also take on various responsibilities throughout the department as assigned.

  • Assists agents in transition from training to a live environment.

  • Effectively communicates corporate and department objectives on a regular basis; motivates and creates a positive working environment to achieve productivity and performance standards

  • Assists in answering account questions with representatives regarding bankruptcy, impounds, total loss, repair checks, SCRA, cease and desist, deceased and recovery related matters.

  • Handle escalated calls from team members and may initiate outbound calls when needed

  • Conducts coaching side by sides to identify areas of deficiency or strength.

  • Review work and monitor phone calls of team members to verify adherence to ACA Policies and Procedures and ensures that customer service objectives are met

  • Holds knowledge sessions to assure clarity and content of training materials.

  • Could fill in for a supervisor temporarily while on PTO.

  • Other tasks as assigned

  • 1+ years of experience applicable to the department

  • Full understanding of ACA’s policies and procedures

  • Demonstrates excellent communication, leadership and coaching abilities

  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Must possess the ability to multi-task

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a Full-Time position. Days and hours of work are primarily Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Occasional weekends may be required.


No travel is expected for this position.
