Aerotek Press Operator/Mechanic in Spartanburg, South Carolina

Now Hiring 1st shift Press Operators/Technicians

Pay:$25-30

Responsibilities:

  • Operate line efficiently including troubleshooting automation and setting up line for production including understanding all components.

  • Ability to make adjustments and calibrate equipment to operate press within parameters.

  • Assist in QDC and set up job to run to standard.

  • Must be able to troubleshoot and help determine causes of problems, validate diagnostic test, working with supervision and support groups to address issues.

  • Understand product and quality specifications and make appropriate decisions

  • Perform designated PM; assist in repair/replacement of equipment as needed

  • Verify and employ all tagging and labeling processes

  • Communicate effectively verbally, in writing and via phone to all levels of organization regarding issues

  • Ability to operate heavy equipment: forklift, cranes, die carts etc.

  • Continually improve equipment operation

  • Maintain 5S standard
