Project Coordinator

About the company: Project Coordinator position available at a rapidly growing manufacturing facility in Rock Hill, SC. They have a constantly evolving portfolio of projects includes clients in the aerospace and defense industries. They embrace a culture defined by teamwork, ownership, and accountability. About the position: As a Project Coordinator, you are responsible for efficiently and accurately processing customer orders and requests acting as the customer liaison to engineering, production, shipping, and accounting departments. You must strive for complete understanding and ownership of customer’s projects and products. This is the ideal position for someone who has a manufacturing background who is self-directed and thrives on complex issues that may require additional research and follow up. Qualifications: Associates Degree in Business, or 3+ years of administration in manufacturing. Experience with composites, plastics or manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft business applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. Proficient typing skills and experience with an ERP/MRP system.

  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multitask with strong follow up skills. Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.

  • Problem solving skills with ability to work individually or as a team player.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication. People skills is a must. Dependable, enthusiastic, and self-motivated to complete tasks with minimal supervision.

  • Coordination of multiple large high revenue projects.

  • Order entry, scheduling, inventory control, invoicing, customer returns, and budgetary forecasting of accounts for production.

  • Maintain a friendly disposition in a fast paced, open, neat, and organized office environment.

  • Procedure documentation, tracking and review to streamline processes.
