SC Department of Public Safety Psychologist I - FES in Richland County, South Carolina
This position is located within the Division of Inpatient Services' *Forensics Evaluation Services *Address: 7901 Farrow Road, Columbia, SC 29203
The Psychologist I will conduct forensic and sexually violent predator psychological evaluations and generate written reports on adults and/or juveniles involved in the adjudication process or committed to the Department of Mental Health's forensic psychiatric hospital. The Psychologist I may also testify as an expert witness. Evaluations will include competency to stand trial, criminal responsibility, capacity to conform, sexually violent predator evaluations, risk assessments and psychological consultation testing.
This position allows for a $20,000 Supplement yearly in addition to the annual base salary.

Minimum and Additional Requirements
State Requirement: A Doctorate in applied psychology from an accredited college or university and experience in the practice of applied psychology.
Preferred Qualification: A Doctorate in psychology from an accredited college or university and (2) two years experience in the practice of applied psychology subsequent to the doctoral internship; or possession of a current license to practice clinical psychology in the State of South Carolina and (2) two years of experience in the practice of clinical psychology subsequent to the doctoral internship.
