SC Department of Public Safety INTERNAL POSTING - Systems Programmer/Developer II in Richland County, South Carolina
Develops SCDNR web pages to established standards and protocols. Maintains and implements Agency Web Site Standards and Protocols. Develops/implements enterprise web applications. Incorporates innovative web technologies. Develops web forms for Internet and Intranet. Documents web site and administrative issues and procedures as appropriate.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
A high school diploma and work experience in the modification and maintenance of system programs, the design and development of system software, or the testing and debugging of system software. An associate's degree or a bachelor's degree in a related field may be substituted for the required work experience.
Working knowledge of web content management system administration. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft IIS web servers and with Unix and Linux-based web server operating systems. Skills in implementing logging and reporting solutions to monitor web-based applications as directed by senior leadership. Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt quickly to implement them as required. Ability to establish effective working relationships and to effectively communicate both verbally and written with users and staff members. Ability to guide users in the use of a content management system.
Salary: $40,759.00 - $75,413.00 Annually
