SC Department of Public Safety Engineering Technician I Summer Internship- District 7 in Orangeburg County, South Carolina
Job Responsibilities
This posting will be used to fill six (6) summer internship positions in the Department of Transportation District Seven offices located in Aiken, Allendale, Bamberg, Barnwell, Calhoun, Clarendon, Hampton, Orangeburg, and Holly Hill.
Assists in engineering activities in the Maintenance and Construction Engineering fields. Pay rate is between $11.00- $17.00 per hour depending on qualifications.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
A high school diploma; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.
Applicants must be accepted into or currently enrolled in a two year or four year college or university program in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Science and Management.
