CVS Health Transportation Admin - 2nd Shift in North Augusta, South Carolina
As a Transportation Admin, you will be crossed trained in several job functions of transportation. We look for someone that is self-motivated, dependable individual able to perform job duties with little or no supervision. You will be required to work with confidential information and requires someone who will maintain this information with the strictest confidentiality. Hours for this position: 4 pm-12:30 am EST Monday - Friday.Core responsibilities are listed below. - Purchase Card reconciliation ownership.- Maintains Transportation attendance records requiring high levels of accuracy and confidentiality.- Receive, communicate and respond to telephone calls and /or messages to resolve problems and issues regarding the delivery schedule.- Receive calls from the store field. - Filing of driver and equipment paperwork.- Daily generating and distributing reports.- Accurately compile, calculate, and record all necessary information from host computer and shipping records.- Share the responsibility of daily Driver route and work assignments.- Perform other duties as requested by supervisor/management.- Maintaining Driver logs and generating reports related to logs.
- 1+ years of administrative duties to aid in the efficient operation of the Department while providing cross-functional support to the entire Distribution Center Staff.- 1+ years of experience in Microsoft Excel to include spreadsheet layouts, creating graphs, importing and exporting data.- 1+ years of experience in Microsoft Word to include generating memos and other documentation.- Experience with customer service skills such as telephone skills; ability to greet and professionally represent this organization to visitors, CVS departments/stores, and the CVS Corporate Office.Physical requirements - Lifting: frequent sedentary, occasional medium lifting up to 50 lbs - Occasional: bending/reaching/stooping; frequent walking/standing/climbing
- Able to key/type a minimum of 40 wpm.- Experience with account payable/receivable- Experience with inbound freight scheduling/backhaul coordination- Experience with train and driver route bidding process- DOT experience- OSHA experience
Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required
