Assemble, modify, set up and conduct Leak Tests, and other required tests on air conditioning and refrigeration systems, sub-systems, controllers, and component assemblies with a focus on water-source heat pumps.
Provide periodic training for proper assembly to various production departments.
Complete required preventive maintenance and inspections on building equipment, and testing area components.
Complete other duties and assignments as required.
Maintain safe working practices and follow company safety policies and procedures.
Install vacuum pumps onto Chillers and ensure required metric is met prior to charging.
Support, Fabricate, Assemble and Assist with the Testing of commercial and industrial chillers for manufacturing operations.
Locate potential leaks within our product line using various methods.
Understand common components operations, examples being Solenoid Valves, Reversing Valves, and Check Valves.
High School Diploma or GED required
Must hold a valid Universal EPA 608 Certification.
Knowledge of the following refrigerant types R410, R134a, R507c, and R407.
Must be capable of diagnosis and repair of commercial and industrial water & air-cooled chillers, and control systems with minimal direction.
Must be proficient with in depth knowledge of electrical systems, diagrams and wire practices. Must be able to complete wiring from start to finish using only electrical prints for newly designed products.
Prior experience with Lock Out Tag Out and Electrical Safety.
Experienced in brazing copper joints to include dissimilar metals using various filler rods
