Our plant in Newberry, SC, a leading manufacturer of process water chillers, has an immediate opening for a full time entry level Mechanical Engineer.
Entering bills of materials
Establishing and entering routing steps
Maintain engineering changes for existing product
Maintain system integrity while assigning part numbers, product classes, etc.
Requires close interaction with other dept. such as Customer Service, Production Control and other manufacturing areas
Provide continuous product improvement of existing unit designs
Provide equipment trouble shooting including microprocessor control systems
Bachelor’s Degree required
Excellent PC skills (Word, Excel, Access)
CAD skills, with ability to create basic 2D drawings and ability to read and understand mechanical drawings
Ability to handle frequent change of priorities based on business needs and to self-manage activities based on those priorities
