As one of the nation’s largest single-source providers of lighting and electrical products, electrical services, electrical construction, and energy management solutions, Facility Solutions Group is expanding its staff and seeking aProject Managerto manage a small team of electrical technicians on site at the below listed locations. This is a temporary contract position lasting approximately 12-18 months.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As aProject Manager,you will be responsible for the successful implementation of energy efficiency projects for Energy Service Contractors who have partnered with  Facility Solution Group .  The Project goals are to reduce the Customer’s energy spending and upgrade to more modern, energy efficient lighting equipment.

AProject Managerwill:

  • Ensure that all safety programs are adhered to without exception

  • Always act professionally and ethically  

  • Conduct complete and accurate Audits of worksites

  • Place material orders once scope of work is verified

  • Secure necessary documents and information from customers and subcontractors

  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and report status of projects on a daily basis

  • Plan, set up, and track both daily and weekly workflow expectations

  • Ensure compliance of any required Infectious Disease Control Protocols, including HEPA filtration requirements

  • Visually inspect completed work and document as-built conditions

  • Generate estimates involving material and equipment outside of the normal scope of work

  • Ensure projects are installed on time and within the scope of work and budget

  • Manage relationships with customers and subcontractors performing installations

  • Coordinate with Team to determine best course of action for recommendation or application issues

  • Update and maintain all Federal/Healthcare documentation and protocols, as required

  • Report directly to the Senior Project Manager

     

     

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in electrical or lighting system rework

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in project or contractor management

  • Experience working In Federal/Healthcare Buildings

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Ability to multitask while staying organized

  • Strong verbal & written communication skills

  • Positive customer service skills

  • Proficiency with technology and electronics strongly preferred

  • Self motivated and driven

  • Tuberculosis Screening is required

     

     

WE OFFER:

 

  • This is a Contract Role, contract term will last 9-12 months.  There will be a set start and end date for employment.
