Position Overview

The Technical/Field Service Technician is responsible for identifying product solutions that suit our internal and external customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer requests for technical assistance with Hubbell products by email or phone.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues with the product.

  • Assist Warranty Engineer with evaluation of returned product as needed.

  • Collaborate with multiple departments to support pre-sale efforts.

  • Regularly communicate literature errors with the appropriate Product contact(s).

  • Provide certification documentation as needed for the products.

  • Provide alternate product solutions based upon factors like availability or pricing.

Skills and Experience

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), SAP, Solid Edge and/or CAD

Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings

Strong communication skills - verbal and written

Strong organization and follow-up skills


Associates Degree in Engineering General

Bachelors Degree in General Studies
