GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:iiiiiiiiiiiTo effectively extend timely and courteous customer service to associates/clients.To administer all benefits programs in a timely and quality manner. To encourage and promote a mutual associate/customer relationship which enhances the profitability of Goodwill Industries.To represent Goodwill in a professional manner to reflect values and standards of its mission and goals.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:iTo provide superior customer service to associates regarding benefits and claims.To maintain confidential, accurate, and punctual reporting with key stakeholders including but not limited to Human Resources/Payroll partners, benefits providers, and regulatory agencies as needed. To record, file and maintain all records in compliance with HIPAA, COBRA, and Goodwill guidelines in a professional and timely manner. To review and communicate associates' eligibility for medical leave requests and ensure compliance with FMLA and Leave of Absence guidelines.To present and offer benefits to associates during orientation, open enrollment, and in accordance with qualifying events.To provide all eligible associates benefits information in a timely manner.To maintain active and terminated associate group medical/dental benefits, including COBRA, STD, LTD, Life, ADandD, 401(k), premium payments and extension of benefits.To effectively communicate routine benefits related questions. To coordinate routine mailing welcome/termination letters, surveys, benefits notifications to associates to ensure compliance.To prepare and distribute routine reports and audit biweekly benefits payroll processing. To assist other Human Resources staff to make sure all new associates receive new hire orientation.To coordinate the scheduling of random drug screens for associates and clients.To serve as the back-up for ordering and distribution of service award gifts.To assist the Human Resources staff in all other areas of employment activity as needed.To share schedule as relief for the Front Desk/Receptionist as needed.To perform all other duties that may be assigned.Responsible to:i VP of Human ResourcesEducation:i High School diploma; prefer college or some other advanced degree in HR skills, benefits or related area.Work Experience and Skills:i Minimum i 2 years of successful and progressive administrative support experience.i Prefer three or more years experience with an HRIS system. iThe ideal candidate for this role should possess the following:Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office products i Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookStrong communication and presentation skillsOrganized with systematic approach to managing position responsibilitiesAbility to successfully manage multiple projectsAbility to work effectively and efficiently with diverse individuals to ensure superior customer service in administering benefitsAbility to be a self starter to ensure efficient problem resolutionPossess strong work ethic that best reflects core valuesPhysical Requirements:i Daily requirements may include climbing, balancing, reaching, talking, hearing, seeing, standing, stooping, kneeling, handling, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.i Must be able to lift 25lbs without assistance.i Sitting and working on computers for extended periods of time.i May be exposed to dust and odors.i May be required to do limited work outdoors.Safety and Security:i Responsible for following all safety and security as directed by Goodwill policy.i Report all accidents, however slight, to your supervisor immediately.
