How you will make an impact

Supervise a team of analysts in the QC Lab. Provides laboratory testing support to meet business objectives.

What will you do?

  • Monitors the performance of staff such that corporate and business goals are met. Meets throughput goals for batch dispositions, assessment, and investigations

  • Train staff in departmental procedures and QC testers in HPLC, GC, KF, biometric procedures

  • Independently reviews data and investigations for accuracy

  • Develops and implements policies and procedures. Implements approved changes in collaboration with labs, production, regulatory, client, and Quality. Ensures that work is appropriately documented per cGMP

  • Establishes actions and implement systems to achieve process improvements and efficiencies to address shortcomings in processes and systems. Serves as principle in problem-solving, failure analysis, and quality or process system design activities related to product quality. Evaluates protocols, procedures, documents and results for scientific and/or business merit. Ensures areas of responsibility are compliant with industry standards and trends

  • Drafts submission-ready sections of regulatory dossiers for drug products for approval by management

  • Drafts specification rationales for drug products. Drafts standard operating procedures. Writes appropriate reports and correspondence. As needed, write reports for clients

  • Will need to be available for night and weekend support on a rotational basis

How will you get here?


Bachelor's degree in a scientific or related discipline is required.

  • Ability to thrive in a matrix and diverse cross-functional team environment

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a global organization, within operations, and with external clients

  • Agility in managing multiple tasks within tight deadlines

  • Self-motivated individual who can work to drive results

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, working knowledge of MS applications - Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote, Teams

  • Familiarity with EMPOWER
