The G2O Platform Manager reports to the North American Platform Manager and owns and manages the G2O product for North America. The G2O Platform Manager also plays an integral function in product lifecycle management of the G2O platform. With the help of other business value streams, the G2O Platform Manager develops the needs and changes to the product to ensure the needed cost, quality, reliability, competitiveness, time to market and disturbance free operational processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the sustaining branch of the engineering organization, i.e. PLM (product lifecycle management)

  • Act as a stakeholder to the NPI projects/programs to ensure compliance and standards are followed both internal and external

  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps for the heavy duty, belted product based on inputs from Marketing and Engineering

  • Develop and maintain full chain product cost models with yearly defined KPIs in all areas of the product Transfer Price

  • Define KPI for cost, performance and efficiency, from eLog to Installation and everything in between that affects/impacts the G2O platform

  • Work with all swim lanes to develop a full chain product understanding

  • Work with key stakeholders to set annual KPIs for product cost competitiveness

  • Work with Product Reliability Manager to maintain product to A17.1 and other standards

  • Work with Product Introduction Manager to action as VOC for product handover and requirements

  • Work with PMO to drive release contents/dates for key programs/projects, act as a stakeholder for PDP and CNs

  • Develop a team of engineers and designers to focus on G2O overall PLM responsibilities
