Job Description:

The Strategic Initiatives Manager will help drive the timely and accurate completion of multiple strategic initiatives occurring simultaneously. The person in this role will be responsible for providing engagement management, thought leadership, and analytical support.

The Strategic Initiatives Manager is a dynamic opportunity to work alongside executive leadership. The Strategic Initiatives Manager should have excellent engagement management skills to drive and ensure the success of cross-functional initiatives. The role will often operate independently and with minimal daily supervision, and thus must possess strong personal drive, self-direction, and judgment. This role also requires an extremely high level of integrity, professionalism and discretion given the level of access to confidential company information.

Location: Charlotte, NC or Denver, CO preferred, remote for right candidate with preference for Philadelphia, PA and Atlanta, GA,

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

  • Understand and align the business strategy and objectives across departments

  • Provide thought leadership, engagement leadership, and analytical support to Flexential executives

  • Lead cross-functional matrixed teams to drive change:

  • Structure ill-defined, nebulous challenges / issues into actionable frameworks and plans

  • Create ownership and urgency for intelligent action

  • Design productive work sessions, prepare content and notes and status updates

  • Successfully transition sustained ownership into the business

  • Champion business behaviors to execute and achieve desired value from strategic initiatives

  • Drive the timely and accurate completion of multiple strategic initiatives occurring simultaneously

  • Example engagements & domains

  • Design, launch, and enhance business capabilities / processes that drive revenue growth, improve profitability, and reduce operating variability

  • Develop bench-marking metrics and implement reporting (e.g., Health Dashboard) to measure business performance

  • Facilitate alignment to create shared understanding, vision, and commitment

  • Manage the assessment and prioritization of strategic initiatives

  • Ability to develop solutions and make recommendations with limited data

  • Ability to solve complex problems, generate hypothesis, identify root causes

  • Makes confident, fact-based decisions

    Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 5+ years of experience (recurring revenue technology businesses a plus, but not required)

  • “Big Four” or top-tier consulting firm experience preferred

  • Diversified functional skills

  • Proven track record of managing large complex projects involving multiple work streams and stakeholders

  • Demonstrated success in improving organizational processes

Self-starter and entrepreneurial spirit

Base Pay Range : Annualized salary range offered for this position is estimated to be $100,000 -$130,000, however, the actual pay range depends each candidate’s experience, location and qualifications.

Variable Pay : Discretionary annual bonus, based on personal and company performance.
