Perspecta Senior Cyber Assurance / Information Security System Analyst in Columbia, South Carolina

  • The Senior Cyber Assurance / Information Security System Analyst is responsible for providing technical advice to the Authorizing Official (AO), and oversee and direct related cybersecurity policies, research, governance, risk management and compliance activities.

  • Researches, analyzes, documents and writes systems security accreditation and certification requirement packages.

  • Responsible for documenting systems architecture and networks’ physical layout in writing and graphical presentations.

  • Analyzes, evaluates, and recommends the application of systems accreditation and certification procedures in relation to existing and planned network architectures.

  • Responsible for completing accreditation documents as outlined by DISA Risk Management Framework (RMF), Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP), policies and procedures, and Authorizing Official (AO) guidance.

  • Maintains Enterprise Products List (EPL) and Accreditation Library for all approved products and systems and evaluate service level agreements and assists with the completion of all accreditation documents for Cross Domain Solutions as outlined IAW DoD and other regulations.

  • Tracks, documents, and reports all security related events. Coordinates and tracks Information Assurance Vulnerabilities Alerts (IAVA).

  • Review and report USAFCENT compliance and develop and implement associated Plans, Objectives, Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms).

  • Provides general IT management support, general networking, Local Area Network (LAN)/Wide Area Network (WAN) enterprise, CONUS and OCONUS deployment andTDY travel, functional training, technical and general O&M, documentation and reports, and meetings/briefings to support Air Force Central Command (AFCENT) Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC) operations.


  • B.S. in related field, and 5 or more years’ IT relevant experience (preferred); OR 7 or more years’ relevant IT experience.

  • Firewall experience

  • CISSP or CCNP-Security

  • MCSA, Network+ CE, Firewall and ITIL Foundation

  • TS with SCI Eligibility
