LifePoint Health Patient Safety/Risk Coordinator in Columbia, South Carolina
Coordinates assigned Quality/Patient Safety program to facilitate the program initiatives to ensure effective and timely patient care.
Facilitates the development, implementation, and ongoing adherence of Quality/Patient Safety program protocols. Metrics, and initiatives.
Collaborates with medical and hospital staff to provide evidenced based practice.
Provides education and clinical expertise to care team, patients, and families
Collects and analyzes program data to assist with documentation, coding, clinical care and improved outcomes.
Demonstrates ability to be flexible and organized.
Assists with facilitation and implementation of special projects.
Evaluates and documents program performance.

Graduate Accredited School of Nursing; Associates Degree for accredited college in a healthcare field; Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree strongly preferred.
Minimum Work Experience:
A minimum of 5 years acute care hospital experience.
Professional license/registration as required by South Carolina for health professionals.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Service excellence and good interpersonal skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills, Proficient in Microsoft Office.
