  • Looking for a strong leader with 2+ years experience managing direct reports and possesses solid background in public health.

  • Must understand population care gap to promote members to attend health events and fairs.

  • Need data analysis and interpretation experience.

  • Bachelors in Nursing and Kentucky RN license with HEDIS audits experience highly preferred.

  • Responsible for managing andcoordinating comprehensive programs targeted at Health Promotion activitiesthat enhance the value of managed care products and services.

  • This includes the developmentof selected health-related policies and services, and design of healtheducation materials.

  • Primary duties may include,but are not limited to: Assures compliance with contract requirements andensures member and provider materials are State approved.

  • Coordinates the developmentand implementation of education targeting prevention and maintenance ofphysical, developmental, emotional, and addictive diseases.

  • Acts as a liaison to qualitymanagement, health care management services, and the disease management programfor the coordination of joint activities. Researches and recommends managementstrategies that can enhance ability to provide members and providers withcutting edge services and programs.

  • Identifies and recommendsactivities and services that promote member compliance, participation, andretention.

  • May also manage communityevents, member services (complaints, claims reimbursement), CAHPS survey, etc.Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

  • Requires a BA/BS in Health Promotion, Health Education or related field

  • 6+ years of experience in a related field, including management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Certified Health Education Specialist preferred.
