Picture Yourself at Pega:
The Business Development Specialist for New Channel Development will be responsible for growing the University Academic Program by developing and pursuing leads within the university community and working with them to adopt Pega’s curriculum into their degree programs.
What You'll Do at Pega:
Establish relationships with key university faculty and staff to drive Pega University Academic Program (UAP) adoption.
Work with Pega employees and Pega clients to seek out existing relationships with key university faculty and staff to drive Pega University Program (UP) adoption.
Pursue leads with Pega employees, Pega clients and university representatives.
Deliver presentations to the above constituents to pursue deeper penetration into universities leading to adoption of the UAP.
Meet quotas with respect to adding additional universities to the UAP and increasing the number of participating students.
Who You Are:
This candidate will have a combination of a proven sales background, technical understanding of application development concepts, and a strong familiarity with the university academic environment to effectively drive adoption of Pega’s UP into university degree programs.
What You've Accomplished:
5+ years’ experience selling products, services and/or programs to commercial or not for profit enterprises
Strong familiarity with the university environment, which may include teaching university courses, working with university administration and/or professors, marketing or selling to universities.
Customer service orientation, with track record of consistently exceeding customer expectations
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Technical background with knowledge of: Object-Oriented programming and design, database management, and application development
Prior experience with Business Process Management (BPM) or Workflow management development tools
