Job Summary: The Department of Psychiatry in the Division of the National Crime Center is looking for an Accountant/Fiscal Analyst II. This position will assist the Administrative Coordinator in the National Crime Victims Research and Treatment Center by providing financial and procurement activities related to the center.
Payscale Salary Range: UNIV-Band 5: $33,494.00 - $47,734.00 - $61,975.00 (min - mid - max)
35% - Assist with compilation of finance materials for Grants and Contracts Accounting on a quarterly basis to facilitate invoicing by GCA accountant. Oversee purchases on award and compile non-payroll documentation using Marketplace and UMS to be submitted for grant reimbursement. - (Essential)
25% - Download monthly financial and payroll reports and data. Reconcile division financial data and prepare monthly reports with include expenditure, encumbrances and commitments. Analyze projected spending for projects coming to conclusion. - (Essential)
20% - Conduct procurement activities (purchasing, reimbursements, travel requisitions , etc.) for faculty and postdocs not otherwise supported within the NCVC. This activity will include retention of materials for proper invoicing to agencies as well as accurate record keeping of goods, supplies and equipment - (Essential)
15% - Provide administrative support on various projects associated with the division. This may include coordinating meetings, communicating with consultants, contractors and collaborators, and preparing necessary information for implementing their services. - (Essential)
5% - Conduct other administrative duties. - (Essential)
Preferred Experience & Additional Skills: Three years of professional experience and proficient use in Microsoft Office Suite.
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements : A high school diploma and three years professional experience in a related area such as accounting, auditing, finance or commercial lending. A bachelor's degree with multiple accounting courses may be substituted for two years of the required work experience.
