JOB SUMMARY: The purpose of the Outlook® Vending Technician is to install, repair and support Industrial Vending equipment for internal and external customers. This position will also provide on-site training to customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide installation, repair & support (on-site, phone, email, and remote) as needed and required to both internal and external customers for Industrial Vending equipment
• Respond to customer requests for assistance in a timely manner based on established guidelines
• Resolve all requests for support in a timely manner. Every effort will be made by the Vending Technician to resolve issues within the guidelines established for the various priorities
• Communicate with the user on progress in resolving the case.
• Provide regular status updates for critical and high priority open issues. Bi-weekly updates will be provided for medium and low priority open issues
• Propose a viable workaround when possible. Vending Technician will make every effort to provide alternate means to fulfill a task that a customer is attempting to perform. Any workaround will be documented in the Case tracking system
• Other duties may include PC configurations, internal help desk, setting up and maintaining simple networks, product testing, software testing, and technical writing in an inter-department collaborative environment

/DUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:/ / /

• Minimum A.A. degree in Business or MIS or Related Field
• 5 years related work experience
• A Certification is highly desirable
• Previous hands on IT first response or Vending Machine trouble shooting experience highly desired
• Clear driving record

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• High-integrity and self-motivated individual with excellent communication, organization, and multi-tasking skills
• The ability to troubleshoot complex systems using the process of elimination. Relevant experiences are help desk, customer service in a technical role, computer lab technicians etc
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to articulate technical information to non-technical users Sales Support
• Provide Sales Support and follow up with customer after Industrial Vending presentation has been made to close equipment implementations
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to travel throughout the region (up to 70%) some periods of overnight travel required
• Ability to work independently
• Proficient / strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and SAP
• Knowledge of SQL, Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, Virtual PC, and Wiki Software
• Knowledge of Crystal Reports
• Experience using remote software to assist users
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
• Demonstrates a clear and effective speaking manner for the purpose of explaining information to customers and employees
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals using the English language
• Demonstrated planning skills and outstanding personal relationship skills
• Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills
• The successful candidate takes ownership and creates solutions and enjoys working “hands-on” in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment
