We are seeking aEngineering Technologist for ourMicrobial Solutionssite located inCharleston, SC. The Engineering Technologist will beresponsiblefor the following:
Develops testing methodologies and approaches, and tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
Works closely with all members of Product Development, Instrument Service and Technical Service teams through all phases of the product life cycle.
Prepares laboratory testing plans and test cases to support new product development, executes tests, documents issues and possible product or process improvements.
Performs experiments, laboratory studies and other test methods to ensure the efficacy, robustness, and reliability of products developed within and for Microbial Solutions.
Proficient general laboratory technique and microbiological testing strategies.
The following areMinimum Requirementsfor the Engineering Technologist position:
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or equivalent in Microbiology, Chemistry or Life Science field.
0-2 years experience in related field, with understanding in reliability, product development and basic laboratory technique.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
