Job Responsibilities

The Grant Manager will work closely with the Project Director in order to fulfill the requirements of a grant awarded by the U.S. Department of Defense for a term of up to three (3) years. This grant is funded to increase STEM participation among underserved, military, and rural populations and to build a future pipeline for highly skilled workers in STEM fields. This individual will provide broad administrative, programmatic, marketing, and outreach support to the Project Director. As the primary contact for a wide variety of customers, including potential students, parents, companies, partners, and other faculty and staff at the College.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

This position requires a bachelor’s degree plus two (2) years relevant program experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of federal grants, STEM teaching/coaching background and/or curriculum development are preferred. As the initial point of contact and primary customer service representative, the ideal candidate will have customer service experience assisting diverse customers. The ability to prioritize and complete a wide array of tasks with a high degree of accuracy and organizational skills is essential for the success of this position. Previous experience managing grant data and multiple systems is a plus.
