Job Responsibilities

This position is located in Beaufort, SC under the direct supervision of our Executive Assistant, performs receptionist and other administrative duties in support of Staff.**
1-Greet consumers and visitors; answers and routes phone calls; schedule/reschedule appointments, making reminder phone calls for appointments, handle inquiries regarding mental health and rehabilitative services and filing of medical records, reports, personal requests and supply requests. 2-Maintain attendance sign in sheet and help direct the flow of clients throughout daily activities. 3-Implements and maintains office procedures as dictated by the SCDMH State/Center Policies which include assisting and transferring caseloads, discharge maintenance and maintenance fact sheets in the client records 4-Routing clients' clinical and financial information, monitory of insurance coverage and ensuring demographic information is updated. 5-Routing incoming/outgoing mail, faxes and vehicle logs 6-Maintains electronic files
Minimum and Additional Requirements

_STATE REQUIREMENTS: _HS diploma, related clerical experience may be substituted for a HS diploma.
_DMH REQUIREMENTS: _ HS diploma and 1 year of clerical experience; or associate degree in secretarial science or other related field; or 2 years of clerical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Must be very computer literate; must have good customer service skills; must be able to maintain effective working relationships with staff and consumers; must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
