Associate Search Marketing Manager
The is responsible for all paid and unpaid search efforts for HART tools. This includes SEM (AdWords / Bing), Walmart Sponsored Products (Kenshoo), SEO for HARTtools.com, and other related advertising platforms. The primary goal will be to use the allocated budget to reach desired KPIs (revenue, impressions, clicks, etc.) as efficiently as possible through search. The secondary (but equally important) objective is finding learnings from these campaigns to share with the larger marketing team to help provide data driven insights.
Over-arching goals of this role:
Revenue / KPI Generation Use all platforms that are managed to drive aligned KPIs within the budget given by the manager.
Search Engine Optimization Support Use all learning from paid efforts and existing search knowledge to better optimize HARTtools.com to increase organic search rank.
Research and Strategy Staying up to date with current search trends, new search platforms, and ever-changing measurement metrics is critical to success here.
Analytics, measurement, and reporting Being able to effectively communicate the goals, optimizations, and results of these initiatives will be a key part of this role.
Collaboration Working with other marketing functions, as well as the sales and product teams, will allow learnings from this role to reach all parts of the business. This type of collaboration will also ensure the focus areas of this role are in line with the focus areas of the brand overall.
Mange, review, and perform daily account responsibilities associated with Google AdWords, Bing, and Walmart Sponsored Products for HART products across power tools, outdoor power equipment, and floorcare
Maintain and monitor keyword bids, weekly & monthly budgets, and impression share
Manage the creation of large keyword lists
Provide copy suggestions based on keyword performance
Generate weekly and monthly reporting on for all major metrics
Communicate with full team regarding project status, timelines, and anticipated results
Passion for Search and digital marketing
Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex search focused objectives to non-digitally focused teams
Outstanding ability to think creatively -- able to identify and resolve problems
Passion for the DIY, power tools, or outdoor equipment spaces is a plus!
Professional Skills & Qualifications
2-3 Years of SEM / PPC experience
Proficiency in MS excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Experience in web analytics platforms (Google Analytics)
Experience in common PPC platforms (AdWords, Bing, etc)
BS/BA degree preferred
