SC Department of Public Safety Human Services Coordinator I (Mental Health Counselor II) Abbeville MHC in Abbeville County, South Carolina
This position is located with the South Carolina Department of Mental Health, Beckman Center for Mental Health Services, Abbeville Mental Health Clinic.
Under general supervision, provides treatment services to the seriously mentally ill adult population and emotionally disturbed children. Mental health services will be provided in a culturally competent manner, which will include but not be limited to, assessment, crisis management, individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
State Requirements: A bachelor's degree and professional experience in human services or social services programs. Agency Requirements: A master's degree in guidance, counseling or the social sciences and one year's experience is required to be considered for this position.
